Gulf Hills Golf Club closing tomorrow

Tomorrow is the last day for golfers to hit the links at the Gulf Hills Golf Club in Ocean Springs.

The club announced the closing earlier this month after 92 years in business. The board of directors decided the course would close, citing the rising cost of maintenance along with declining income.

Current ownership put the course on the commercial real estate market in the hopes of keeping it open under new ownership, but interest in the property remains unsteady.
