G&J’S Mobile Car detailing gives back to community

One Jackson County business spent their weekend car washing for a good cause.

G&J’s Mobile Car detailing held a ‘Detailing for Donations’ car wash event off of Highway 90 in Gautier on Saturday and Sunday to benefit the homeless in Pascagoula and surrounding areas.

Each car wash was free, but folks were encouraged to make cash donations or other donations of clothing, canned goods, and other items.

G&J’s Co-Owner Jenna Lee Seals tells News 25 they raised $150 on the first day of the event and each donation goes a long way for helping others. “We were able to buy two tents, four blankets, some toiletry items, and food.”

Seals says they are planning to host more car washes like this one in the future.
