9/21 – Warm Start to the Week With a Little Extra Humidity
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your forecast
We’re starting the week on a quiet note, with clear nights and plenty of sunshine around on Monday and Tuesday. Highs will sit in the upper 80s to low 90s, with comfortable overnight lows in the low 70s, and just a light breeze from the south both afternoons.
By midweek, things turn a bit more unsettled. Scattered showers and storms are possible Wednesday afternoon, with a better chance Wednesday night into Thursday and some of those even lingering into Friday. This is all before a cold front comes through which will once again dry us out.
Rainfall is generally looking to stay less than an inch through the next week, although there could be some pockets of locally higher amounts. This will hopefully tamp down on some of our dry and moderate drought conditions that have popped up over the last week.
Next weekend is looking mostly sunny again with highs in the upper 80s, and lows dipping into the mid to upper 60s.
