9/16 – Few Isolated Showers Possible This Week

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your forecast

Clear skies and comfortable nights are the theme once again as we continue through the rest of this week.

Temperatures tonight will settle into the upper 60s with calm winds across South Mississippi. Wednesday stays sunny and warm with highs near 89, followed by more sunshine on Thursday with highs in the upper 80s, and a light southeast breeze in the afternoons.

The warm, dry stretch continues into the weekend. Friday and Saturday will be fairly nice and sunny days with temperatures topping out near 90 to 91, a brief chance for a few afternoon showers, and pleasant nights right around 70.

Sunday holds on to the sunshine with highs close to 89, before a slight chance of showers returns Monday.
