8/8 – Sam Lucey’s “Clear and Dry” Friday Evening Forecast

We’ll stay mostly clear tonight with just a stray shower or storm possible late. Lows will drop to around 74, with a light southeast breeze shifting to the northeast overnight.

Saturday starts quiet, but by late morning, scattered showers and storms will pop up. Highs will reach about 89, and a few storms could bring heavier downpours. Saturday night stays partly cloudy with a few leftover showers.

Sunday looks more active — showers and thunderstorms are likely after lunchtime, highs near 89, and storms could linger into the night. Monday brings another round of afternoon storms, with rain chances around 80% and highs again close to 89.

The unsettled pattern sticks around through Tuesday and Wednesday, with afternoon storms likely each day. Highs will range from the upper 80s to low 90s, with warm, muggy nights in the mid to upper 70s. By Thursday, we’ll still see the chance for some afternoon showers and storms, but also plenty of sunshine in between.
