8/4 – Sam Parker’s “High Heat Coming” Sunday Night Forecast

Monday through Thursday will be hot, but drier overall humidity. Looking at the models, ridging will be in place over the next few days. Temperatures will be quite hot with highs in the upper 90s and approaching 100 degrees. Heat index values, since it will be “drier” will be generally between 108 and 112 degrees. A heat advisory has been issued for Monday and Tuesday from 10am to 7pm CT as a result.  Make sure to take precautions for the heat! Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks.
