7th Annual Southern Magnolia 100 to Roll Through Harrison & Stone Cos. on Oct. 5th

This Sunday, October 5th, 2014, the Gulf Coast Bicycle Club will host the 7th Annual Southern Magnolia 100 at the Woolmarket Community Center, located at 16320 Old Woolmarket Road in Biloxi. This bicycle ride offers routes for all skill levels and distances ranging from 11-miles, 25-miles, 40-miles, 62.5-miles (metric century), and 100-miles (century). All routes will leave from Woolmarket Community Center. The metric century and century routes depart at 7:00 a.m.; the 11, 25, and 40-mile routes depart at 8:00 a.m.

In its seventh year, nearly 300 cyclists throughout the region have registered for the Southern Magnolia 100, a bicycle ride that covers communities throughout Harrison and Stone counties. Event organizers expect more cyclists to register between now and Sunday.

“Cycling is growing along the Coast, and this event offers options from the beginner to the experienced cyclist. We invite everyone to come out and have a great time,” said Eddie Holmes, Gulf Coast Bicycle Club board member and event director.
