75th Anniversary Celebration at Keesler Air Force Base
Keesler Air Force Base kicked off their 75th year celebration during a drill down competition and unveiled their 75th anniversary logo.
The competition was neck and neck as four Keesler student airmen drill teams were judged on precision, neatness and their moves. The Air Force Honor Guard followed with a performance of their own. Keesler officials ended their ceremony with the revealing of their banner, celebrating 75 years of training at the base in Biloxi. Talon Green participated in the competition. “There’s a lot of heritage here and to be a part of that heritage makes me feel really proud. I mean, all the commanders out here, some of them came right out through here, right where I’m standing right now and that’s really special to me to be a part of that.”
The drill down competition is a quarterly event held at Keesler Air Force Base.
