75 Ton Sand Sculpture to be Built Inside Edgewater Mall

On Tuesday, January 20th, sculptors begin work on a 75 ton sand sculpture inside Edgewater Mall. This year’s sand sculpture theme is “Come Out and Play” featuring vignettes of children and families enjoying outdoor fun in various settings. The sculpture will be located at Center Court near Dillard’s.

Sandsational Sand Sculpting based in Melbourne, FL is designing and building the enormous sculpture. The sculpting team will work January 20th through January 30th constructing the sculpture entirely from sand. The completed sculpture will be on display inside Edgewater Mall during regular mall hours through May 31st.
