7 Brew cuts the ribbon on Ocean Springs location ahead of grand opening next week

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- 7 Brew is getting ready to open its new Ocean Springs location on Monday, September 14. The ribbon was cut earlier Tuesday ahead of the grand opening.

The new location will create about 80 jobs and is part of 7 Brew’s plans to expand along the Coast.

Leading up to the opening, the company partnered with the community to support Embrace Abilities, raising $13,800. Embrace Abilities is a nonprofit that helps children with disabilities build connections and take part in activities within their community.

The fundraiser included more than 40,000 free drinks with customers invited to pay whatever they could. 7 Brew Director of Development Mason Simmons said, “I’m really excited to finally get this location open. The people of Ocean Springs have been asking for 7 Brew for almost a year now, since we opened our D’Iberville location. So, we’re really excited to be in this area and near the Coast again. We always say we have immaculate vibes because we sell more than just coffee, we sell an experience. We want people to come through, be a part of our family, enjoy our music, and just have a lot of fun.”

7 Brew officials say they’re also looking ahead to their next Coast location, with plans to build a new shop in Picayune and explore more options.
