It’ll be a hot and mostly sunny day across South Mississippi, with a few spotty showers or thunderstorms possible this afternoon, mainly between 1 and 5 p.m. Highs will reach the low 90s, and a light south breeze will add to the muggy feel.

Tonight looks mostly quiet, though a brief shower or storm can’t be ruled out early in the evening. Skies will stay mostly clear overnight with lows in the mid-70s.

On Wednesday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible by late morning and through the afternoon. It’ll still be sunny and hot overall, with highs in the low 90s and a southwest breeze picking up later in the day. Some storms could bring brief heavy rain, but not everyone will see wet weather.
