7/23 Sam Parker’s “Plentiful Showers” Tuesday Night Forecast

For tonight and through the next couple of days will continue this rainy wet pattern. Looking at models, plenty off and on showers and storms will be expected over the course of the next couple days, especially during peak daytime heating hours. Lightning and gusty winds will be possible with these storms, but the primary concern will be the potential for locally heavy rainfall and localized risk of flash flooding. with the plentiful moisture flowing in from the Gulf will produce highly efficient rainfall. Not everywhere will see rain, but most places should see rain in the next couple of days. And when a storm does set up over the area, a quick 1-2 inches will be possible.
