6th annual Craft Beer Fest at Shuckers Ballpark
The 6th annual Biloxi Chamber Craft Beer Fest made its return at the Shuckers Ballpark.
Attendees lined the ballpark’s concourse and were able to taste test up to 40 different craft beers including a lineup of home brews.
There was also lots of live music, a cigar lounge, and food options.
One home brewery based in Picayune says the festival allows them to get more exposure for the ‘Dangerously Delicious’ beer they craft. Jeremy and Amanda Larson with Dangerously Delicious Homebrew said, “Our flagship right now is a Vienna lager, which is a very uncommon style here in the United States. It’s kind of like a sweeter version of Amber. And when somebody says, yeah, you’re the best at the festival today, it’s definitely a sense of pride.”
Attendee Issac Barnes said, “I could drink it without frowning and you know, I’m saying it’s not too over the top. Definitely we going for the taste the quality of the beer.”
All proceeds from this event go into developing small business grants for members of the Chamber of Commerce in Biloxi.
