68-year-old Lucedale woman killed in crash in Jackson County
JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 613 in Jackson County on Wednesday, October 1.
A 2020 Toyota Highlander driven by 68-year-old Lillian Byrd of Lucedale was traveling north when it collided with a truck traveling south.
Byrd was transported to a local hospital where she later died. The driver of the truck received injuries from the crash and was transported to the hospital.
The crash is under investigation by MHP.
