6/13 – Rob’s “HUMID Monday” Forecast

as the TROPICAL AIR MASS continues to dominate the gulf south…light rain is moving in from the NW this morning. With a cold front to our NE, the moisture will be confined to the gulf sates as the activity increases through this afternoon. Light rain will develop into t-storms with the SLIGHT THREAT for a few t-storms to become SEVERE (small hail & gusty winds) this afternoon. This will be the pattern thorough the rest of the workweek with periods of heavy rain possible. Wednesday will bring a lull in activity, picking back up Thursday through the weekend.
