Happy Friday, South Mississippi!

Your weekend forecast is shaping up to be a little on the hot and humid side, with slightly lower rain chances going into Saturday. High temperatures will top out in the low 90s with dew points reaching the mid 70s, making it feel like upwards of 100 degrees! Make sure to stay hydrated when spending extended time outdoors, and take frequent breaks in the shade or indoors.

A higher chance for rain returns on Sunday in the late afternoon and early evening hours, well after we’ve hit our high temperature in the low 90s once again. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will climb through the middle of next week, with rainfall accumulations nearing 1-2″ across the area.
