6/13 – Sam Lucey’s “Slightly Rainy” Weekend Forecast

Happy Friday!

Tonight will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers or storms dwindling by midnight. Temperatures across south Mississippi will drop to the upper 70s with a light south wind under mostly cloudy skies. If skies clear out enough and the wind drops to calm, we may see some patchy fog across the area as well.

Saturday brings a mix of sun and clouds with another chance of afternoon showers and storms, especially areas further inland. Highs will reach the upper 80s, and any rain should be fairly light unless we get a stronger thunderstorm. No severe weather is anticipated.

Saturday night stays partly cloudy with a few lingering showers possible and lows in the mid 70s. Rain and storms become more widespread on Sunday, especially in the afternoon, with highs near 90. Showers may continue into the evening before tapering off overnight, with mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures.
