5th Top of Hops Craft Beer Tasting to be Held This Weekend

It’s the biggest showcase of craft beer in south Mississippi, with more than 150 beers available for sampling. The Coliseum expects about 3,000 attendees this year. Those over 21 will sample brews from across the entire Gulf Coast, from pale ales to American lagers, and Coliseum officials say it’s a good time for all.

Matt McDonnell, Assistant Executive Director of the Coliseum, says, “Like I said, the biggest craft beer tasting party anywhere in south Mississippi. Five successful years and we’re bringing in more brands every year because more breweries are popping up here in south Mississippi as well as throughout the state, and they want to be able to showcase their beers.”

Tickets start at $40 each and can be purchased the day of the event.
