5A Softball State Championships: East Central vs. Neshoba Central

The East Central softball program is no stranger to the big stage, having just played for the 5A State Championship last season.

This year, the Lady Hornets are South State champions once again and to the surprise of no one are once again playing a Neshoba Central program in search of its ninth consecutive state crown.

Neshoba Central wins game one 7-0. Game two is tomorrow at 7 p.m. from the Southern Miss softball complex in Hattiesburg. Game three, if necessary, will be on Saturday.
