5A Mr. Football Trey Irving signs to continue his athletic and academic career at East Mississippi CC

Gautier’s duel threat quarterback and 5A Mr. Football Trey Irving has signed to continue his football career at the next level.

The region 4 5A player of the year put pen to paper to begin his college football career at East Mississippi community college. IN his senior season, Irving threw for over 3,000 yards and rushed for another 1,000. Don’t forget the 44 total touchdowns for the Gator’s quarterback. After signing, Irving spoke on his excitement to play at the next level.

“I am really excited,” Irving said. “My whole family has been watching me, I am the baby, so this is a big moment for me and everybody getting to experience me going to college.”

Irving will graduate high school this month and get a head start at the next level starting in the spring semester.
