5A Baseball State Championship Game 2: Pearl River Central vs. Oxford

After winning game one of the 5A State Championship series on Tuesday, the Pearl River Central baseball team had a long time to think about game two. The Blue Devils finally took the diamond again this afternoon versus Oxford.
They were looking to close things out against the reigning state champion Chargers, but that would prove to be easier said than done.
The Chargers force a winner-take-all game three with the 9-2 victory. Blue Devils get right back on the horse tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
