$50 million beach replenishment project in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-Harrison County is in preparation mode for a $50 million beach replenishment project.

The goal is to put the beach back to its original 235 feet from the sea wall design.

The project will extend the beach out to the drainage pipes or outfalls.

Sand Beach Director Trey McKnight spoke with WXXV on the project.
