5/27 – Sam Parker’s “Storms for Lunch” Tuesday Morning Forecast

Another day of storms this time with a higher chance of severe weather. Our next round of storms are expected to impact the local area primarily Tuesday late morning, which could lead to impacts during lunch time hours. There is a 1 to 2 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms, which include locally strong or damaging wind gusts, hail up to 1 inch in diameter or larger and dangerous marine conditions. Mainly north of I-10 is where we see the level 2 risk. Still a lot of uncertainties in how intense/strong these storms will be, so be weather aware! We will continue to see more rounds of thunderstorms for until Friday.
