A Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 PM Monday for Jackson, Harrison, Hancock, and Pearl River counties.
Showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast through Memorial Day, with periods of heavy rain possible Monday morning and through the afternoon. Skies will stay mostly cloudy with highs near 81 and south winds between 5 and 10 mph.
The primary threat early this week is heavy rain that may cause localized flash flooding.
