44-year-old Saucier resident killed in accident in Harrison County

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at approximately 3:40 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 49 in Harrison County.

A 2003 Toyota Echo driven by 44-year-old Tomika Lane of Saucier, MS, and two juvenile passengers aged 14 and 15 years old, traveled south on Highway 49 when it collided with a 2015 Honda Odyssey driven traveling west from Nobles Road.

Tomika Lane, the two juvenile passengers, and the driver of the Odyssey were transported to a local hospital.

Tomika Lane later died at the hospital.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
