4,100 students graduate from Mississippi State University

More than 4,100 students graduated from Mississippi State University today in Starkville. The ceremonies were held at Davis Wade Stadium on campus.

It marked the first commencement held in the stadium since 1998.  Graduation was also held at the stadium in 1989 when President George H.W. Bush served as commencement speaker.

MSU President Mark E. Keenum reminded students that with an MSU education and the core values of integrity, a strong work ethic, and respect for others, they can make a significant impact on the people they meet in life and the world as a whole.

Keenum also commended the graduates for their ability to overcome challenges on their journey toward a degree.
