40th annual Coast Memorial Day Blowout returns to the Gulfport Dragway
Four days of exciting events and attractions will be rolling out next week at the 40th annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Memorial Day Blowout.
You can expect a street wars race, a burn out contest, and the popular all-Harley drag races. The blowout, starting Friday, May 26th, offers 100 acres of a party site for four days of exciting events and attractions where all the proceeds go back to the community and to many charitable organizations.
There are also races, live music, and several motorcycle vendors who will be set up, offering the best in apparel and accessories for you and your bike. Ray Bale with the Asgard Memorial Day Blowout said, “This year should be pretty good. We got some top fuels coming. So, they are always good. I like listening to them run. Everybody has a real good time. Bring anything you want to run with the bike related. We got the t-shirt contest, barrel racing, weenie contest, all kinds of different racing.”
The gates will open at the Gulfport Dragway at noon Friday, May 26th and will run all the way up to Memorial Day. Tickets are $40 per person and $20 on Sunday only.
