4/9 – Sam’s “Warmer” Thursday Night Forecast

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead

A beautiful stretch of spring weather is ahead for the Gulf Coast, with sunshine dominating the forecast through much of the upcoming week.

Tonight stays mostly clear with a mild low near 60. Sunshine returns Friday with afternoon highs in the upper 70s, and that pleasant pattern continues through the weekend.

Highs will climb into the upper 70s to near 80 each afternoon, while overnight lows remain comfortable in the upper 50s to middle 60s. A steady southeast breeze will help keep temperatures seasonable and bring in a touch more humidity early next week.

By Monday through Thursday, expect partly to mostly sunny skies with highs hovering around 80 degrees and no significant rain chances in sight.
