4/4 – Trey Tonnessen’s “Fire Weather” Thursday Evening Forecast
Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen
Ridging and high pressure will be building over the area tonight through Saturday morning, suppressing rainfall chances for the next couple of days. Northerly surface winds will help continue to advect less humid air into the region. As a result, temperatures will feel quite pleasant with highs tomorrow in the mid 70s and lows in the low 50s tomorrow and Saturday mornings. These temperatures are still in line with general model guidance and consensus. Though the weekend appears to be trending towards being free of rainfall, that will not be the case next week. I will have more on multiple chances for rain and thunderstorms possible next week, coming up later tonight.
As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. Be nice to each other.
