4/28 – Sam’s Tuesday night forecast
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead
Quiet and warm conditions continue tonight with mostly cloudy skies and lows around 70. Wednesday stays mostly dry and warm, with highs in the mid-80s and a slight chance of a late-day storm.
Rain chances increase overnight Wednesday as scattered showers and storms develop, continuing off and on through Thursday. By Friday, a more organized system moves in, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms, with the heaviest rain likely Friday afternoon through Friday night.
Conditions begin to improve Saturday, though a few lingering storms are possible early. Cooler, drier air settles in for the back half of the weekend, with highs dropping into the low 70s Saturday and rebounding into the mid 70s by Sunday under sunny skies.
