4/15 – Sam’s Wednesday night forecast
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead
Tonight stays partly cloudy with temperatures falling to around 66 overnight, and a light south breeze keeping things mild overnight.
By Thursday morning, some patchy fog may develop before 8 a.m., so visibility could be reduced for the early commute. After that, the fog quickly gives way to mostly sunny skies with afternoon highs climbing to around 81. A light south wind will continue through the day. Friday looks almost identical, with another chance for patchy early morning fog followed by sunshine and highs again near 81.
Saturday remains warm and slightly more cloud-filled, with highs still near 81 degrees. Most of the day stays dry, but rain chances begin to return late Saturday night as a few showers and thunderstorms become possible after 1 a.m.
That small storm chance lingers into Sunday morning before tapering off by the afternoon. Behind the front, cooler and breezier north winds move in, bringing highs down to the mid 70s Sunday and overnight lows into the 50s by Sunday night.
Early next week looks pleasant, with mostly sunny skies on Monday and highs in the mid 70s. A few isolated showers could pop up Tuesday into Wednesday, but at this point, rain coverage looks limited.
