4/14 – Sam’s “comfortable” Tuesday night forecast
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead
Skies remain mostly clear tonight with lows dipping to the low 60s and winds staying light from the south.
Sunshine dominates the forecast from Wednesday through Friday, with afternoon temperatures reaching 80 at the coast with low to mid 80s inland each day. Overnight lows will stay in the mid-60s, continuing the warm and slightly humid springtime feel.
The pattern begins to shift slightly over the weekend as clouds increase. Saturday will still be warm, with highs near 81 degrees and a mix of sun and clouds.
A weak front moves through on Sunday, bringing only a slight chance for a few isolated showers by the early afternoon. Temperatures will ease back slightly, with highs in the upper 70s.
Behind the front, drier and slightly cooler air arrives to start the next week. Sunday night lows will drop into the lower 50s, and north winds may become breezy at times. Monday and Tuesday will stay partly sunny with highs sitting in the upper 70s.
