4/10 – Trey Tonnessen’s “Severe To Clear” Wednesday Night Forecast

Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen

Heading into the weekend things will remain quiet with temperatures beginning to moderate however, moisture will struggle to return through the weekend. Northwest flow will remain over the area as a ridge slowly builds over the western Gulf and southern Plains. Moisture will finally start to increase slowly late Sunday and Sunday night. The surface high will slide off to the east and allow for return flow to finally kick in. Even with the slow return of moisture we will remain dry as the ridge still dominates aloft. Low level temperatures will respond and could lead to highs in the mid to upper 80s by early next week however, rain will remain out of the area through much of next week.

As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. Be nice to each other.
