Ocean Springs State of the City Address

Uber taxi services, the leaning tree on Lovers Lane, these are just a few of the many hot button conversations buzzing through the streets of Ocean Springs.
Ocean Springs Mayor Connie Moran talked highly about the future of the city during tonight’s State of the City address at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center. She started out by discussing some of the city’s larger projects, such as the Ocean Springs Small Craft Harbor and the Government Street improvement project. She then reviewed the city’s financial state in detail just before revealing future partnerships and projections for the upcoming year.
“I’m just very proud of our community, our citizens. They’re very passionate. We love our heritage. We love our town, downtown, all around, our schools. We have a lot to be proud of in Ocean Springs,” said Mayor Moran.
