37th annual Fall Muster

Get ready to step back in time, Beauvoir is holding its annual Fall Muster this weekend.

Experience the 1860s with presentations, camp life, music, and a battle taking place daily.

Beauvoir was the last home of Confederate President Jefferson Davis. There are always activities for children as well such as a ‘small muster.’

Unique for this year is a traveling HL Hunley exhibit, the first submarine used to sink a warship.

The Hunley was a Confederate submarine, sinking the U.S.S. Housatonic during the Battle of Charleston.

If you want to get into the Civil War spirit, there will also be sutler and vendors.
