37th annual Christmas in the Pass kicks off

Tonight kicks off Christmas festivities in Pass Christian.

It’s the 37th annual Christmas in the Pass presented by the Pass Christian Volunteer Fire Department.

Downtown is full of Christmas decorations including colorful lights, big wreaths, and so much more.

Events include a parade, lighting of the town tree, a Christmas concert, and a holiday firework show.

Shops are open and dozens of vendors are lined up all down the streets including the Sober Life Food Truck. Pierre Hawk with Sober Life Food Truck said, “We’re here for this event so we can just enjoy the Christmas spirit with everybody here in the Pass. It’s very nice. I’m excited to be here. It’s my first time, and it’s just a beautiful thing that everybody can come together in peace.”

Special appearances include Santa and the Grinch in Whoville!
