34 MGCCC students receive Round up for Education
Thirty-four Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College students received a total of $27,200 in scholarships thanks to a Pearl River Valley Electric Power Association program.
The Round up for Education program allows the Electric Cooperative’s members to round their bills up to the nearest dollar.
The money is pooled into a scholarship fund for members, their children, or spouses attending community colleges in Mississippi.
Each of the 34 MGCCC students received an $800 scholarship.
