$32M hotel development possibly coming to Biloxi

A new two-hotel development project could soon call Biloxi home, leaving some neighbors unsure.

The proposed project site is located at 1252 Beach Boulevard and backs up to several homes located on Father Ryan Avenue.

The Biloxi City Council will decide tomorrow whether or not they approve the request.

The $32 million beach development is called Oak Grove Hotels. The nearly four-acre property has been sitting vacant for years.

While in the neighborhood, one resident told News 25 she is eager to see how the city council votes.

On the other hand, property owner Lance Hack is sharing his disappointment about the project, saying it doesn’t fit the character of the neighborhood, impacting more than 160 families living in the area.

News 25 will continue to update this story as it develops.
