31-year-old Kiln man dies in accident in Hancock County

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Dummy Line Road in Hancock County.

A 2002 Ford F-250 driven by 31-year-old Dalton Emmons, of Kiln, MS, was traveling east on Dummy Line Road when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and overturned. Dalton Emmons received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
