Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead

A stretch of beautiful, spring-like weather is settling in across the region, bringing plenty of sunshine and warmer than normal temperatures through the upcoming week. Clear skies tonight will allow temperatures to fall to the mid 50s, with light winds overnight.

The weekend looks nearly perfect, with abundant sunshine both Saturday and Sunday and highs climbing into the upper 70s and low 80s. A light southerly breeze will develop, keeping conditions comfortable, but slightly more humid. Nights will remain mild, with lows hovering in the upper 50s to near 60.

Warming continues into early next week, with highs reaching the lower 80s by Monday under sunny skies. While Tuesday brings a mix of sun and clouds, temperatures will stay warm near 80 degrees. By midweek, partly to mostly sunny conditions persist, with highs in the upper 70s and overnight lows in the low 60s.
