3/13 – Trey Tonnessen’s “Rain Chain” Wednesday Evening Forecast
Meteorologist Trey Tonnessen
A fast moving mid- level shortwave axis is nearly through the local area and will be departing through the evening. Isolated showers have popped up across some areas where breaks in the clouds have allowed more heating and increased instability. Any showers should dissipate within a couple hours of sunset. Biggest question for tonight is whether or not fog will develop. If dewpoints come up a little quicker than forecast, however, there could be some denser fog near areas where the water temperatures are a bit cooler, especially near the mouth of the Mississippi River.
As always: A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. Be nice to each other.
