Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at the week ahead
Mostly cloudy and mild tonight with patchy fog developing late and a low near 68. Wednesday stays mostly cloudy with patchy morning fog and only a slight chance for a brief afternoon shower, with highs near 79.
Rain and thunderstorms move in Wednesday night with widespread rain likely and temperatures dropping to the mid-50s as winds turn north. A few lingering showers are possible early Thursday before skies gradually clear, with breezy conditions and highs in the upper 60s.
Cooler and clear Thursday night with lows in the mid-40s. Sunshine returns Friday through the weekend with highs warming from the low 70s Friday to the upper 70s by Sunday.
Another chance for showers arrives Sunday night, followed by cooler air early next week with highs dropping into the 60s and lows falling to around 40 by Monday night.
