8/15 – Sam Lucey’s “Nice and Dry” Friday Evening Forecast
For tonight, we’re looking at partly cloudy with lows in the mid 70s. Saturday brings sunshine and heat, with highs in the mid 90s and the heat index topping out near 112. We have a heat advisory in effect from 10 am to 7 pm, but we can expect a few scattered storms by afternoon to help us cool down. Saturday night stays warm around 76.
Sunday through Tuesday, we’ll have hot afternoons near the mid 90s with a shot at scattered storms each day, especially between 1-4 pm, and overnight lows hovering around the mid 70s. By midweek, that pattern continues: plenty of sunshine mixed with those pop-up afternoon storms. Highs stay in the low-90s and the nights remain warm and muggy.
