25th annual HoopsFest
The Mississippi Coast Coliseum will be the home of the 25th annual HoopsFest this weekend with a lot of familiar faces coaching in the event.
You can check out Coast teams like Long Beach, Hancock, and the undefeated Biloxi Indians.
Other events taking place include the unified game and crowning the best three point shooter on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Bearcats Head Coach Brandon Cobb challenges his young team to make a statement against some tough competition. “We are here to prove that we can belong with the Gulfports and the Biloxis and all those powerhouse programs and really just make a name for ourselves. We got our guys excited and just a good event like this will get us some exposure and hopefully good things will happen.”
Tickets are $8 through participating high school teams only. They are $10 at the box office and $11 for day of game purchases.
