25 Teams in 25 Days: George County Rebels

Day 24 of our 25 Teams in 25 Days segment takes us to George County High School!

The Rebels are coming off a successful season that saw them finish the year with a 7-6 record, reach the quarterfinals of the playoffs and send five-star quarterback Deuce Knight to Auburn. This year, Kelly Causey is taking the reigns as George County’s head coach after five years as the program’s defensive coordinator. New stars are also set to emerge on the field, including in the quarterback room.

Even with the new faces, a new playbook and even a new region in the MHSAA, George County expects to remain a force in its district. WXXV News 25’s Elizabeth Keen has more from the Rebels as they look to start their season strong.
