24th annual Holiday Tree Gala

The Hancock County Library has transformed into a true winter wonderland.

If you are looking for a fun and educational way to spend the holidays, this is it. More than 50 businesses, organizations, and schools have unique trees up for display all across the library. Santa Claus even made an appearance.

This event has been going on for 24 years and many community members look at it as the official start of the holiday season. Programming Coordinator Nel Ducomb said, “This event has been a tradition for families throughout Hancock County, where we actually have third generations who are starting to come in with their babies, which is wonderful.”

This event will run through the entire month of December.
