2025 Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic is set to take off in Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) – The Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic is back in Biloxi and is taking place at the Golden Nugget Casino.

The competing fishermen are out on the marina, getting their vessels ready in hopes of reeling in the lucky catch. 

This year, there is a $100,000 cash prize for breaking the state record of 80 pounds for a white marlin. 

The 2025 Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic brings cash, big boats, and big competition from all over the country. 

Boats will leave Point Cadet Marina at 11 am on Thursday, with the awards ceremony taking place on Sunday at the Golden Nugget Casino.
