2024 Oath of Office ceremony hosted for Stone County

The Stone County Courthouse hosted the 2024 oath of office ceremony last night.

The ceremony began at 6:30 PM and highlighted many individuals.

Sheriff Todd Stewart was honored and sworn in, as was Chief Deputy Steve Taylor.

The deputy sheriff’s oath was also performed.

Kevin Hines was sworn in as the justice court judge west.

Stone County deputy circuit clerks were sworn in as well.

The Honorable Lisa P. Dodson was sworn in as circuit court judge and Norris Hopkins was sworn in as the board attorney.

Stone County’s 2024 board of supervisors was sworn in during the event.
