2024 Blue Moon Art Project Winner Announced

(Ocean Springs) -Gulfport, Mississippi artist, Adam Plitt is this year’s winner of the Blue Moon Art Project associated with the 46th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival presented by Blue Moon held on November 2 & 3, 2024.

The state-wide art project brought to Mississippi through the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival accepted applications from August through October with submissions being turned into the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau.

A committee reviewed the submissions and chose Plitt as the 2024 winner. The 2024 winning piece, “Carl’s Town”, will be on display in the Ocean Springs Visitors Center until it appears on signage, souvenir cups, and more next fall.

The promotions will be in celebration and preparation for the 46th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival 2025.

The announcement of the winning art project was made on Sunday afternoon of the festival, along with the announcement of the People’s Choice Award. The attendees voted during the festival for their favorite art piece and recognized Ezekial Dymen of Gulfport for his piece “Orange a Peel” as this year’s People’s Choice Award winner.

The Blue Moon Brewing Company via FEB Distributing has been partnering with the festival to inspire the Mississippi community in the arts. From their original slogan “Artfully Crafted”.

Blue Moon has had a passion for the arts and has used its product to create successful artfully inspired projects throughout the United States continuing in Mississippi still today.
