2023 Click It or Ticket Campaign ramps up
The annual Click It or Ticket Campaign has started. It encourages drivers and passengers to buckle up when in a car.
The campaign runs from May 22nd through June 4th. State and local law enforcement work together during a heightened enforcement period to protect anyone on the road from being unbuckled.
The U.S. Department of Transportation released a roadmap to address the national crisis of traffic deaths and injuries in 2022.
It builds multiple layers of protection with safer roads, safer cars, safer speeds, and better post-crash care.
The Department of Transportation also announced more than $800 million in grants to help communities carry out projects to address high crash areas.
